National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors,
Columbia, Pennsylvania

Founded in 1943, The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Inc. (NAWCC) is a nonprofit scientific organization that serves as a unique educational, cultural, and social resource for its membership and the public at large.
In 1995, the Association officially opened the NAWCC School of Horology which is designed to continue the tradition of watch and clock repair. Adjacent to the Headquarters complex, the School offers a Clock Repair Program and a Watch Repair Program. Students are taught on the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The School is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools.
The NAWCC School of Horology continues the tradition of watch-making by offering a Watch Repair Program. This program is designed with the beginner in mind and progresses to more advanced stages and technologies. Graduate students, fully equipped with knowledge and skills in the art of watch repair, can expect to attain at least an entry level position in this field. The Watch Repair program consists of eight courses that are offered at three-week increments (116 clock hours) per course with the exception of W-500 that is offered at a two-week increment (80 clock hours). The Watch Repair program is seven months or thirty-four weeks. (W-100 through W-700, and L-100.)
The Watch Repair Program enrollment, for the full program, requires the completion of Applications for Admission/Enrollment Agreements for each repair course contained in the program, a registration fee of $120.00 and a program deposit of $800.00.
The watch and clock repair program courses are limited to (9) Nine students per class.
