OSU Institute of Technology's degree in Watchmaking and Microtechnology is an intensive two year program. Students earn an Associate of Applied Science degree and sit for the AWCI CW21 exam. The AWCI CW21 (Certified Watchmaker of the 21st century) certification from the American Watch nad Clock Institute is the industry standard for modern watchmakers. Students in the OSUIT's program also have the opportunity to certify with SAWTA (Swiss American Watchmaker Training Alliance).

Our industry-driven integrated associate degree program ensures that our graduates are well-rounded, professional watchmakers.  The program receives support from Rolex and students may apply for scholarship assistance. Career opportunities are numerous, both in the United States and abroad, with employment available in watch brand service centers, independent service centers, and jewelry stores being just a few of the many available options.

OSU Institute of Technology has an Office of Veterans Affairs to assist eligible members of the armed forces, veterans, and dependents in efforts to attain education benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Tonya Garcia is the contact person at 918-293-4972 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

OSUIT's Office of Veterans Affairs helps to interpret federal and state agency regulations; we serve as liaison between the student, other university departments, and the VA regional office; we serve as advisors and coordinators to aid veteran-students with issues that may impact receipt of VA education or vocational rehabilitation benefits.

As a state public university, we do provide accommodation for persons with disabilities and have had returning veterans in many of our programs on campus through the years.
